By exploring, observing, and experiencing the rich tapestry of China I learned a great deal about a place I have grown to love. I gathered images of the textures, details, colors and ornamentation, as well as studies of building techniques and the traditional ways of working with natural processes to create the built environment. All these elements continue to inspire me and inform my work.
