Fabric Form Work
Since 1997
Together with Mark West, who is a true pioneer in material experimentation, I continue to research and develop new methods of construction using fabric. These images show the portable fabric column formwork I designed. It consists only of three compression poles, wire, a compression ring and fabric, which combine to form a column (one had a blow out). I also tested creating concrete floors and tilt wall slabs using the fabric formwork.
