Human Order

Humanity: Service to the world, one heart at a time.
When my wife and I chose to spend a year of our lives teaching English in the city of Yueyang, Hunan, P.R. China, our Chinese abilities were limited to counting to ten and greeting people. After many months of adjusting to our new way of life and its customs and traditions, we slowly learned the language. However, what touched me more than their words was the people’s kindness and pure-hearted friendships.
Understanding any spoken language will take time, but if we do not allow language to be a barrier, we can communicate freely using the universal language of the human soul. Simply by looking at these images, we can begin to understand the juxtapositions of a culture in transition - the old and the new, the elderly and the young – and to see the universal exuberance and industriousness of spirit in the people.
